The Rock Generation "Music to Schools" program hopes to fill the gap created by California's budget crisis by establishing choirs and drama clubs in schools with limited budgets.

Creative outlets allow youngsters to explore and express feelings and dreams.in a safe and encouraging environment.  Rock Generation is made up of professional, experienced performers who volunteer to share their love of music and theater by teaching their skills to the next generation of entertainers.

Our first goal is to create performing arts programs in elementary and middle schools by the end of the 2010-2011 school year. Once the programs are established, Rock Generation will provide continuous training and skilled assistance as long and as often as needed.  Part of this training proposal is to create a cycle of success where high schoolers return to their earlier schools to lead the performance programs as their senior projects, work studies or internships.
